Posizionamento di impianti press-fit mediante preparazione con Laser ad Erbio del sito

Abstract

Oggetto della Tesi di Laurea sarà uno Studio Preclinico volto a verificare la possibilità, mediante preparazione con Laser ad Erbio del sito, di posizionare impianti “press-fit” (REX – PiezoImplant) su Osso animale. Sarà opportuno un confronto con la metodica “tradizionale” che, per impianti di tipo press-fit, prevede una osteotomia realizzata mediante chirurgia piezoelettrica. Tra le finalità principali del lavoro vi è sicuramente la possibilità di rispondere al quesito: con l’utilizzo esclusivo del Laser ad Erbio è possibile posizionare un impianto tipo press-fit? Conclusione: A conclusione del presente lavoro e dopo attenta valutazione dei cinque test clinici è possibile affermare che il posizionamento degli impianti press-fit con tecnica che preveda l’utilizzo esclusivo del LASER ad Erbio è possibile.

The subject of the Thesis will be a Preclinical Study aimed at verifying the possibility, by means of preparation with Erbium Laser of the site, of placing “press-fit” implants (REX - PiezoImplant) on Animal Bone. A comparison with the “traditional” method, which, for press-fit implants, involves an osteotomy performed by piezoelectric surgery, will be appropriate. The main aims of the work certainly include answering the question: with the exclusive use of the Erbium Laser, is it possible to place a press-fit type implant? Conclusion: At the conclusion of the present work and after careful evaluation of the five clinical trials, it is possible to state that the placement of press-fit implants with a technique involving the exclusive use of the Erbium LASER is possible.
