Putin e il Putinismo: analisi del pensiero e della leadership del Presidente della Federazione Russa

Abstract

Questa tesi ha l'obiettivo di analizzare una delle figure più importanti della politica internazionale negli ultimi venticinque anni, il Presidente della Federazione Russa Vladimir Putin. In particolare, questo lavoro prende in considerazione sia l'aspetto teorico che quello pratico della sua leaderhsip. Infatti, dopo aver brevemente presentato la biografia di Putin, la tesi si concentra sul concetto di Putinismo, analizzando i valori, le idee e i sentimenti che guidano l'azione politica del Presidente russo . Successivamente, il terzo capitolo è dedicato a tutte le decisioni che Putin ha adottato nella politica interna e che lo hanno portato ad accentrare il potere nelle sue mani, trasformando la Russia in un regime sempre più autocratico. Infine, prima delle necessarie conclusioni, la tesi prende in considerazione l'evoluzione della politica estera di Vladimir Putin attraverso l'analisi del rapporto tra la Russia e i principali attori della politica internazionale, come la NATO, l'Unione Europea, gli Stati Uniti e la Cina, ma anche le ex repubbliche sovietiche di Georgia e Ucraina.

This thesis aims to analyse one of the most important figures in international politics over the last twenty-five years, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. In particular, this work considers both the theoretical and practical aspects of his leaderhsip. Indeed, after briefly presenting Putin's biography, the thesis focuses on the concept of Putinism, analysing the values, ideas and sentiments that guide the Russian President's political action . Next, the third chapter is devoted to all the decisions Putin has taken in domestic politics that have led him to centralise power in his hands, transforming Russia into an increasingly autocratic regime. Finally, before the necessary conclusions, the thesis considers the evolution of Vladimir Putin's foreign policy through the analysis of the relationship between Russia and the main actors in international politics, such as NATO, the European Union, the United States and China, but also the former Soviet republics of Georgia and Ukraine.
