CANNABIS SATIVA L. “CARMAGNOLA SELEZIONATA” (CS):ANALISI QUALI-QUANTITATIVA SU INFIORESCENZE FEMMINILI DI COLTIVAZIONI INDOOR E OUTDOOR;RICERCA DI ENDOFITI IN ACHENI.

Abstract

Cannabis sativa è una delle piante maggiormente impiegate dall’uomo in ambito terapeutico e non solo. Le regioni dell’Asia temperata, occidentale o centrale, sono state indicate come possibili luoghi d’origine, ma storicamente la sua coltivazione si è estesa ampiamente in altri Paesi. Tra i territori maggiormente vocati alla canapicoltura vi è anche la penisola italiana che è stata fino alla metà del secolo scorso uno dei maggiori produttori mondiali di canapa. Attualmente in Italia esistono poche filiere capaci di lanciare sul mercato prodotti a base di canapa come ASSOCANAPA S.R.L il cui progetto d’impresa è basato sulla coltivazione di alcune cultivar storiche tra le quali “Carmagnola Selezionata”. Proprio su quest’ultima cultivar è incentrato il progetto di ricerca. Il lavoro di tesi ha contemplato un inquadramento tassonomico di Cannabis che assume una notevole importanza non solo nella scienza botanica, ma anche in ambito regolatorio. Successivamente sono stati caratterizzati dal punto di vista quali-quantitativo campioni di infiorescenze femminili provenienti da coltivazioni sia outdoor sia indoor di Cannabis sativa cv. “Carmagnola Selezionata”. Infine, è stata effettuata un’analisi su acheni della medesima cultivar con l’intento di verificare la presenza di batteri capaci di creare rapporti di endofitismo con i tessuti seminali.

Cannabis sativa is one of the plants most used by human beings in the therapeutic field and others. The regions of temperate, western or central, Asia have been indicated as possible places of his origin, but historically its cultivation was widely extended to other countries. Among the territories most suited to hemp growing there is also the Italian peninsula which was until the middle of the last century one of the major world producers of hemp. Currently in Italy there are few supply chains capable of producing hemp-based products such as ASSOCANAPA S.R.L whose business project is based on the cultivation of some historical cultivars including "Carmagnola Selezionata". The research project is centered on the latter cultivar. The thesis work therefore contemplated a taxonomic framework of Cannabis which assumes considerable importance not only in botanical science, but also in the regulatory field. Then, samples of female inflorescences from both outdoor and indoor cultivations of Cannabis sativa cv. “Carmagnola Selezionata” were characterized from the qualitative-quantitative point of view. Finally, an analysis was carried out on achenes of the same cultivar with the aim of verifying the presence of bacteria capable of creating endophytic relationships with seminal tissues.
