In Roman Catholicism, written in 1923, in full post-war Catholic renewal, and considered by its author to be one of the best of his literary production, Schmitt, through the themes of representation and the political form, on the one hand praises the greatness and visibility of the Church Catholic as an institution, on the other it represents a direct criticism of liberal modernity.
