Abstract

According to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, teeth bleaching is the most requested cosmetic treatment in American dental pratices. In this thesis, 2 clinical cases of dental bleaching are dealt with using a gel with a high concentration of hydrogen peroxide (YW next 35% HP) activated with a 980nm diode laser. The aim is to assess whether this technique is safe and effective even in the hands of inexperienced operators.

Secondo l'American Accademy of Cosmetic Dentistry, lo sbiancamento dentale è il trattamento cosmetico più richiesto negli sudi dentistici americani. In questa tesi vengono affrontati 2 casi clinici di sbiancamento dentale mediante l'utilizzo di gel ad alta concentrazione di perossido di idrogeno (YW next 35% HP) attivato con laser a diodi 980nm. Lo scopo è valutare se questa tecnica è sicura ed efficace anche nelle mani di operatori poco esperti.
