RISULTATI :
Incisivi laterali e premolari presentano riassorbimenti minimi. The aim of this study is to accurately and realistically through 3D programs evaluate the lesions of the teeth adjacent to the impacted canines following traction treatment. The patients included in this study were selected according to the following inclusion criteria: • the presence of one or two upper canines included that required surgical exposure and orthodontic treatment; • lack of need for treatment based on extractions (excluding third molars); • no treatment in progress or in the last 12 months; • no ongoing systemic disease; • no antibiotic or anti-inflammatory therapy that could compromise the results; The study treatment is represented by orthodontic traction of the impacted canines which uses the miniscrews as an anchoring system, while for the treatment of the control group the contralateral teeth of patients with only one canine included were evaluated
Lateral incisors and premolars show minimal resorptions. These dental elements support the movement of the included canines and do not wear. This type of approach (Tad) did not cause injury to the dental elements close to the canine included.
RESULTS :
Lateral incisors and premolars show minimal resorptions. These dental elements support the movement of the included canines and do not wear. This type of approach (Tad) did not cause injury to the dental elements close to the canine included.
