La Tesi affronta il lungo percorso storico-teorico condotto dal celebre regista giapponese Takashi Miike all’interno della cinematografia giapponese contemporanea, che parte dai primi film per il mercato home video fino ad arrivare alla “maturità” artistica grazie ai suoi film più famosi e controversi, che gli hanno garantito un posto nell’Olimpo dei grandi del cinema, tanto da guadagnare la stima dei registi di tutto il mondo

The Thesis faces with the long historical-theoretical path led by the famous Japanese director Takashi Miike within the contemporary Japanese cinema, starting from the first home video films in the market until his artistic "maturity" thanks to his most famous and controversial films, which have guaranteed him a place in the Top of the greatest movie directors, which he gained the appreciation of international directors.
