“La correlazione tra il Falso Sé e le relazioni sociali in adolescenza”

Abstract

La tesi svolta è incentrata sul cercare di comprendere la correlazione esistente tra il Falso Sé e le relazioni sociali in adolescenza. Nell'elaborato si è quindi inizialmente affrontano il tema dell'adolescenza, concentrandosi in particolare sulla formazione identitaria degli individui. Successivamente è stato definito il costrutto del Falso Sé partendo dalla concettualizzazione del Vero Sé e passando poi a definire i sentimenti di inautenticità e di vuoto correlati a un funzionamento inautentico. In seguito, è stata indagata la correlazione tra il Falso Sé e le relazioni sociali in adolescenza, focalizzandosi nel dettaglio sulle relazioni con i genitori, con i pari e con i partner romantici. Infine sono stati individuati i fattori di protezione in grado di favorire lo sviluppo di un funzionamento autentico negli adolescenti.

The thesis focuses on understanding the correlation between the False Self and social relationships in adolescence. The paper therefore initially addresses the topic of adolescence, focusing in particular on the formation of individual identity. Subsequently, the construct of the False Self was defined, starting from the conceptualization of the True Self and then moving on to define the feelings of inauthenticity and emptiness related to inauthentic functioning. Next, the correlation between the False Self and social relationships in adolescence was investigated, focusing in detail on relationships with parents, peers, and romantic partners. Finally, protective factors that promote the development of authentic functioning in adolescents were identified.
