Abstract

Questa tesi si concentra sullo studio dell'Office of Strategic Service, come questo si sia sviluppato e sia giunto a diventare il servizio di intelligence che ha poi posto le basi per la fondazione della CIA. Nello specifico la ricerca si è incentrata sulla sezione italiana dell'OSS, che possiamo definire come una delle più importanti, visti i risultati ottenuti. La ricerca si è fondata sulle fonti di archivio, in particolar modo i documenti analizzati riguardo le quattro missioni svolte dall'OSS in Liguria durante la Campagna d'Italia

This thesis focuses on the study of the Office of Strategic Service, how it developed and became the intelligence service that later laid the foundation for the foundation of the CIA. Specifically, the research focused on the Italian section of the OSS, which we can define as one of the most important, given the results obtained.
