Abstract

L’oggetto del lavoro è quello di approfondire la tematica inerente all’evoluzione e alla disciplina ESG. La mia motivazione nell'approfondire questo tema nasce dall'importanza attuale e rilevante per le imprese che vogliono migliorare la loro competitività. Il lavoro di tesi è stato condotto mediante la ricerca di fonti bibliografiche relative alla sostenibilità aziendale e alla regolamentazione ESG. Partendo da tali fonti l’elaborato è stato strutturato su tre capitoli ognuno dei quali ha trattato l’argomento sotto diversi punti di vista. In particolare, dall’analisi della letteratura e dalle fonti sono stati ottenuti i seguenti risultati. È emerso che l’approccio ESG riguarda l’applicazione di un’ampia gamma di tecniche che vanno dall’utilizzo degli indicatori di sostenibilità fino alla massimizzazione dei profitti, nello stesso tempo è stato riscontrato che le aziende che intendono applicare questa visione sostenibile dovranno sostenere dei costi in termini di cultura organizzativa e ristrutturazione degli impianti, infine, si è compreso che il Green Deal, la legge europea sul clima che è stata adottata nel 2019 deve essere considerata come il catalizzatore del percorso di transazione energetica e pertanto il pacchetto di iniziative strategiche condurranno, nel medio e lungo termine, l'UE verso la strada di una transizione verde, con l'obiettivo di farle raggiungere la neutralità climatica entro il 2050.

The object of this work is to investigate the the subject of ESG evolution and discipline. My motivation in delving into this topic stems from the current and relevant importance for companies that want to improve their competitiveness. The thesis work was conducted by research of bibliographic sources relating to corporate sustainability and ESG regulation. Starting from these sources, the paper was structured into three chapters, each of which dealt with the topic from different perspectives. viewpoints. In particular, the following results were obtained from the literature analysis and sources obtained the following results. It emerged that the ESG concerns the application of a wide range of techniques ranging from the use of sustainability indicators to the maximisation of profits, at the same time it was found that companies wishing to apply this sustainable vision will have to bear costs in terms of organisational culture organisational culture and restructuring of facilities, finally, it was realised that the Green Deal, the European climate law that was adopted in 2019 must be seen as the catalyst for the energy transaction pathway and therefore the package of strategic initiatives will, in the medium and long term, the EU towards the path of a green transition, with the goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2050.
