Abstract

Questa tesi studia la storia della mobilità, delle strade, delle rotte marittime e dell’ospitalità attraverso l’analisi critica dei viaggi dei fratelli Zeno, Pietro Querini e Anselmo Adorno avvenuti tra la fine del XIV secolo e il XV secolo. Precisamente verranno analizzate le maggiori e le minori vie di comunicazione, i modi di viaggiare, le strutture viarie terrestri e marittime, i mezzi di trasporto, gli edifici di accoglienza e alcune forme di ospitalità.

This thesis study the history of mobility, the roads, shipping routes and the hospitalities throughout an critical analysis of the brothers Zeno, Pietro Querini and Anselmo Adorno’s travels happened between the end of the fourteenth century and the fifteenth century. In particular we are going to analyze the main and the minor routes of communication, the ways of traveling, the structure of the land and sea roads, vehicles of transportation, hosting builder and also some form of hospitality.
