SCOPI E ANTISCOPI, EMPATIA E PERSONALITÀ PATOLOGICA: VALIDAZIONE DELLO STRUMENTO IGAG

Abstract

Il presente studio nasce con l’obiettivo di indagare come gli scopi e gli antiscopi guidino le scelte e i comportamenti delle persone con particolare riferimento anche alla cornice teorica psicopatologica. Ai fini della ricerca è stato sviluppato lo strumento Inventory of Goals and Antigoals (IGAG), che si propone di ricercare quali scopi e antiscopi possano guidare il comportamento delle persone. Successivamente la ricerca si focalizza sull’identificazione delle relazioni che intercorrono tra scopi e antiscopi ed empatia e tra scopi e antiscopi e personalità patologica, grazie all’analisi delle correlazioni esistenti tra IGAG e Basic Empathy Scale (BES) e IGAG e Personality Inventory for DSM (PID-5). I risultati emersi confermano la validità dello strumento e individuano la presenza di correlazioni significative tra determinati fattori degli strumenti presi in esame, contribuendo ad ampliare la ricerca sul tema ancora poco indagato degli scopi e degli antiscopi.

This study was conducted with the aim of investigating how goals and antigoals guide individuals’ choices and behaviors, with particular reference to the psychopathological theoretical framework. For this purpose, the Inventory of Goals and Antigoals (IGAG) was developed to explore which goals and antigoals may influence human behavior. The research then focuses on identifying the relationships between goals and antigoals and empathy, as well as between goals and antigoals and pathological personality traits, through the analysis of correlations between the IGAG and the Basic Empathy Scale (BES), and between the IGAG and the Personality Inventory for DSM-5 (PID-5). The results confirm the validity of the instrument and identify significant correlations between specific factors of the examined measures, contributing to expanding research on the still underexplored topic of goals and antigoals.
