Corpo e voce come strumenti musicali: Educazione Musicale alla portata di tutti

Abstract

La Tesi indaga il valore dell’educazione musicale nella scuola dell’infanzia e primaria, evidenziando come fare musica a scuola sia fondamentale per lo sviluppo completo dei bambini e delle bambine, sia dal punto di vista cognitivo che socio-relazionale. Grazie a un approfondimento teorico e a un’esperienza pratica alla scuola primaria, il lavoro mostra che non sono necessarie risorse o strumenti sofisticati per realizzare un’efficace educazione musicale: fondamentali sono il corpo, la voce e soprattutto la passione e la dedizione dei docenti. Ricalcando il pensiero di Dalcroze, Orff, Kodály e Goitre, la Tesi propone una visione inclusiva della musica, accessibile a tutti i bambini nonché a tutti gli insegnanti. Cruciale è proprio il ruolo di questi ultimi: solo comprendendo il valore della musica e investendo nella propria formazione, gli insegnanti possono trasmettere ai bambini l’amore per questa disciplina, innescando un percorso di crescita artistica e personale che possa estendersi al di là delle mura scolastiche. La musica diventa così un potente strumento educativo, non solo per lo sviluppo di competenze musicali, ma per la formazione di cittadini consapevoli, capaci di esprimersi attraverso diverse forme comunicative e di collaborare in modo costruttivo all'interno della comunità.

This Thesis examines the value of music education in preschool and elementary school settings, emphasising the importance of musical activities in schools for the holistic development of boys and girls, both cognitively and socio-relatively. The work demonstrates that effective music education can be carried out without the use of sophisticated resources or instruments. Instead, the essential elements are the body, the voice and, most importantly, the passion and dedication of teachers. The Thesis traces the thinking of Dalcroze, Orff, Kodály and Goitre in order to propose an inclusive vision of music that is accessible to all children as well as to all teachers. It is therefore crucial that teachers themselves understand the value of music and invest in their own training. Only then can they transmit a love of this discipline to children, encouraging a path of artistic and personal growth that can extend beyond the school walls. Music thus becomes a powerful educational tool, not only for the development of musical skills, but for the formation of conscious citizens, capable of expressing themselves through different forms of communication and of collaborating constructively within the community.
