Validità di costrutto dell'adattamento italiano della Basic Psychological Need Satisfaction Scale

Abstract

Lo scopo di questa tesi sperimentale era di verificare la validità di costrutto dell’adattamento italiano della Basic Psychological Need Satisfaction Scale (BPNS). Abbiamo esaminato la validità convergente e discriminante dello strumento in un campione di 226 partecipanti (maschi = 24%) dai 18 ai 77 anni. Abbiamo svolto un'analisi fattoriale esplorativa: per la validità convergente, abbiamo confrontato il BPNS con la Basic Psychological Need Satisfaction and Frustration Scale (BPNSFS), che misura in modo simile lo stesso costrutto, mentre per la validità divergente abbiamo confrontato il BPNS con strumenti che misurano costrutti diversi. The purpose of this experimental thesis was to verify the construct validity of the Italian version of the Basic Psychological Need Satisfaction Scale (BPNS). We investigated the convergent and discriminant validity of the instrument in a sample of 226 participants (males = 24%) from 18 to 77 years old. We did an exploratory factor analysis: for convergent validity, we compared the BPNS with the Basic Psychological Need Satisfaction and Frustration Scale (BPNSFS), which similarly measures the same construct, while for divergent validity we compared the BPNS with instruments that measure different constructs.
