La tesi esplora l'applicazione della psicologia ambientale ai contesti educativi, analizzando come l'interazione tra individui e ambienti influisce sul comportamento e sul benessere, dividendo gli ambienti in interni ed esterni. La psicologia ambientale, esamina l'influenza reciproca tra persone e ambienti, con un focus sull'architettura e la progettazione di spazi scolastici. Vengono trattate alcune teorie fondanti della materia tra cui la teoria dell'attaccamento al luogo e la restorativeness. Inoltre, la tesi discute l'evoluzione storica della psicologia ambientale in Italia, evidenziando i contributi significativi di studiosi italiani e le prospettive future di sviluppo.
