Il turismo sostenibile e le nuove generazioni

Abstract

La sostenibilità è uno dei grandi temi della nostra contemporaneità. A tal proposito, è diventato sempre più importante riuscire a creare un'offerta turistica che sia rispettosa delle risorse ambientali, sociali ed economiche di una destinazione, rispettando allo stesso tempo le esigenze della comunità locale e dei potenziali turisti. In questo elaborato si è scelto di approfondire in particolar modo il punto di vista delle nuove generazioni, in quanto esse rappresentano il futuro del turismo (e non solo). È stato incluso anche un approfondimento sulla Psicologia Ambientale, al fine di analizzare e comprendere meglio il rapporto uomo-ambiente, analizzando le potenziali applicazioni e azioni in ambito turistico. L'elaborato contiene un case study realizzato presso Casa Museo Jorn ad Albissola Marina (SV). Si tratta dell'ex residenza dell'artista danese Asger Jorn, oggi riconvertita in un museo, che si propone come centro culturale con progetti di turismo sostenibile rivolti anche ai più giovani, grazie alla realizzazione di attività didattiche.

Sustainability is one of the greatest goals of our contemporaneity. Nowadays, tourism must be respectful of the environmental, social and economic resources of a destination. Moreover, we need to take care of the needs of the local community and potential tourists. In this paper, I have chosen to analyze in particular the point of view of the new generations, because they will be the tourists of the future, so it is important to know what they think and what they do. This paper includes a first chapter about Environmental Psychology, in order to analyze the relationship between people and environment. Potential applications and actions in the tourism sector were analysed. This paper contains a case study about "Casa Museo Jorn" in Albissola Marina (Savona). This is the former residence of the Danish artist Asger Jorn, now converted into a museum, which promotes itself as a cultural center with sustainable tourism projects also for younger people, with educational activities.
