Panoramica sulla storia della Repubblica Ceca, dalla fondazione della Cecoslovacchia nel 1918 all'avvento del comunismo. Analisi delle due stagioni riformiste che trasformarono il paese: quella del 1968, politicamente fallita, e quella del 1989, pienamente riuscita. Cenni biografici sui membri cechi della mia famiglia e riflessioni sulla collocazione attuale della Cechia nel contesto europeo ed internazionale.

Overview of the history of the Czech Republic, from the foundation of Czechoslovakia in 1918 to the advent of communism. Analysis of the two reformist seasons that transformed the country: that of 1968, which politically failed, and that of 1989, which was fully successful. Biographical notes on the Czech members of my family and reflections on the current position of Czechia in the European and international context.
