Il non-financial reporting in ambito yachting

Abstract

Il presente elaborato si propone di esaminare e sottolineare l’attuale e crescente importanza della rendicontazione non finanziaria, focalizzandosi sul settore dello yachting. L’approccio alla sostenibilità, quindi alla dimensione ambientale e sociale, è preceduto da un’analisi dell’andamento del mercato del settore nautico che motiva la scelta dell’argomento. L’elaborato vuole contribuire alla comprensione delle pratiche sostenibili in ambito yachting, analizzando i metodi di misurazione esistenti per calcolare l’impatto ambientale di tali imbarcazioni, per poi focalizzarsi sull’aspetto normativo del non-financial reporting, in grado di porre le basi per offrire delle linee guida pratiche per la gestione sostenibile e responsabile delle aziende del settore.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine and highlight the current and growing importance of non financial reporting, focusing on the yachting industry. The approach to sustainability, i.e. the environmental and social dimensions, is preceded by an analysis of the market trends in the yachting industry, which motivates the choice of the topic. The paper aims to contribute to the understanding of sustainable practices in the yachting industry by analyzing existing measurement methods for calculating the environmental impact of such vessels, and then focusing on the regulatory aspect of non-financial reporting . The latter can lay the groundwork for providing practical guidelines for the sustainable and responsible management of companies in this sector .
