TRA SOPRAELEVATA E TUNNEL SUB-PORTUALE: IL FUTURO DELLA MOBILITA' DI GENOVA

Abstract

La sopraelevata di Genova rappresenta una delle infrastrutture del capoluogo ligure più importanti a livello storico, caratterizzando e distinguendo l’area portuale della città da altre realtà italiane ed estere, non solo dal punto di vista strutturale ed estetico, ma anche funzionale, avendo impatto sulla mobilità urbana genovese. Lo studio approfondisce le economie di rete e di infrastruttura riscontrate in presenza della sopraelevata Aldo Moro e le modifiche che le stesse potrebbero subire in seguito alla realizzazione del nuovo progetto del tunnel sub-portuale. Inoltre, si è ricorso anche ad un’indagine sottoposta ad un campione di popolazione al fine di cogliere le percezioni degli individui su possibili scenari futuri di cambiamento della rete. La decisione dello studio di questo argomento, connesso al corso di economia delle reti e delle infrastrutture, si basa su un forte interesse relativo a questa materia, poiché ritengo che la mobilità e il trasporto siano tematiche di grande importanza, ancor più se studiate in un contesto come la città di Genova, soprattutto in ottica futura, con reti e progetti infrastrutturali che si evolveranno per affrontare necessità di trasporto sempre più differenti ed esigenti di maggior efficienza.

The Genoa’s overpass represents one of the most historically important infrastructures of the Ligurian’ county seat. It characterizes and distinguishes the port area of the city from other Italian and foreign reality in terms of structure, appearance and functionality affecting the urban mobility of the city. The study analyses the net and infrastructure’s economies observed with the Aldo Moro flyover and their modifications after the construction of Tunnel sub-portual new project. Also, it has been elaborated a poll on a cross-section of population with the aim to catch the individual notions about a potential future change of the urban net combined with the realization of substitute projects. The decision of the study in this item is based on a strong interest in the material because the mobility and the transport are contents with big importance, especially if they are studied in the real and future Genoa context, through nets and infrastructural projects which will be involved, dealing with transport necessities more and more different and needed of superior efficiency.
