Progettazione e sviluppo di un'applicazione Android di interesse cinematografico

Abstract

L'applicazione proposta, integrando le risorse di The Movie Database (TMDB), fornisce all'utente suggerimenti su film e serie tv basandosi sulla loro popolarità. Per accedere alle funzionalità dell'applicazione bisogna autenticarsi, funzione implementata attraverso Firebase; sono state implementate con gli stessi strumenti le notifiche, servizio che ha lo scopo di incoraggiare gli utenti all'utilizzo dell'app.

Tra le altre funzionalità l'utente può usufruire della ricerca, questa consente di esplorare la quasi totalità dei titoli esistenti, inclusi prodotti ancora inediti e di cui sono note ancora poche informazioni.

L'integrazione di TMDB, supportata da una chiave API, garantisce un accesso completo a informazioni relative ai titoli, fornendo agli utenti una panoramica completa. Il layout è stato strutturato affinchè risultasse intuitivo e facilitasse la navigazione e l'esplorazione delle opzioni disponibili.

In sintesi l'applicazione fornisce all'utente la combinazione di autenticazione, suggerimenti dinamici, ricerca, informazioni dettagliate e notifiche per garantire un ambiente interessante per gli appassionati del mondo cinematografico.

The proposed application, by integrating resources from The Movie Database (TMDB), provides users with suggestions for movies and TV series based on their popularity. To access the application's features, authentication is required, a function implemented through Firebase. Notifications were implemented with the same tools, with the aim of encouraging users to use the app.

Among other features, users can take advantage of the search function, allowing exploration of almost all existing titles, including unreleased products with limited information available.
