Prima e oltre L'affaire Moro. Gli intellettuali e il rapimento di Aldo Moro su quotidiani e periodici.

Abstract

La tesi che viene proposta ha come obiettivo quella di presentare e analizzare i maggiori interventi effettuati dagli intellettuali durante il rapimento del presidente della Dc, Aldo Moro, sui principali quotidiani e settimanali italiani. In quei cinquantacinque giorni di sequestro molte furono le tematiche affrontate dai giornali e gli uomini di cultura vennero più volte sollecitati a far sentire la propria voce in un momento storico così drammatico per la storia del nostro Paese. Dal rilascio delle loro dichiarazioni nacquero tutta una serie di dibattiti e scontri che portarono ad interrogarsi sul ruolo stesso dell’intellettuale in Italia durante gli Anni di piombo. In particolare, a suscitare maggiore indignazione da parte del mondo della cultura furono le interviste al premio Nobel per la Letteratura Eugenio Montale, ma non solo, numerosi uomini di lettere quali Sciascia, Moravia, Calvino, per citarne solo alcuni, si mostrarono protagonisti di un tema che in quegli anni era percepito come un qualcosa di sempre più urgente: riempire lo spazio vuoto lasciato dalla politica. Tramite l’analisi di un numero molto elevato di articoli pubblicati e lo studio di vari saggi che sono stati scritti durante i giorni del rapimento, fungendo quindi da reale testimonianza dei fatti, quali In questo Stato di Alberto Arbasino, Gli intellettuali e il caso Moro di Giampiero Mughini e ovviamente il famoso L’affaire Moro, seppur ad onore del vero quest’ultimo è stato realizzato poco dopo la morte del presidente della Dc, si ha avuto modo di vedere la percezione che essi ebbero degli eventi a loro contemporanei permettendo quindi una conoscenza più autentica dei fatti di quei drammatici mesi.

The thesis that is proposed has the objective of presenting and analyzing the major interventions carried out by intellectuals during the kidnapping of the president of the DC, Aldo Moro, in the main Italian newspapers and weeklies. In those fifty-five days of kidnapping, many issues were addressed by the newspapers and men of culture were repeatedly urged to make their voices heard in such a dramatic historical moment in the history of our country. The release of their declarations gave rise to a whole series of debates and clashes which led to questions about the very role of the intellectual in Italy during the Years of Lead. Especially, what aroused greater indignation from the world of culture were the interviews with the Nobel Prize winner for Literature Eugenio Montale, but not only that, numerous men of letters such as Sciascia, Moravia, Calvino, to name just a few, showed themselves to be protagonists of a theme that in those years was perceived as something increasingly urgent: filling the empty space left by politics. Through the analysis of a very large number of published articles and the study of various essays that were written during the days of the kidnapping, thus acting as a real testimony of the facts, such as In this State by Alberto Arbasino, The intellectuals and the Moro case by Giampiero Mughini and obviously the famous L'affaire Moro, although to be honest the latter was made shortly after the death of the president of the DC, we had the opportunity to see the perception that they had of the events contemporary to them thus allowing a more authentic knowledge of the facts of those dramatic months.
