L'Istituto Santa Marta e i movimenti del Sessantotto: contesti sociali e progetti pedagogici.

Abstract

Questa redazione si intreccia con tanti contesti storici da analizzare, studiare, comprendere. Come i movimenti del Sessantotto hanno cambiato per sempre l’età contemporanea, ma soprattutto come sono stati vissuti in prima persona da coloro che hanno vissuto quegli anni? E come i movimenti sessantottini sono entrati nel contesto specifico della scuola? Che cosa hanno modificato? Cosa hanno vissuto e cosa pensavano studenti e insegnanti di quegli anni di contestazione? Il modello scolastico odierno risente ancora oggi di quell’ondata di cambiamento di fine anni ’60? Un altro contesto specifico che la presente ricerca intreccia è quello della Chiesa. Come la Chiesa ha reagito davanti all’ondata eversiva dei sessantottini che delineavano un rinnovamento valoriale composto da ideali opposti e contraddittori a quelli riconosciuti dalla comunità ecclesiale, come ad esempio il processo di secolarizzazione oppure la crisi della famiglia tradizionale e patriarcale. L’Istituto delle Suore di Santa Marta di Chiavari preso in esame in questa ricerca intreccia tutti questi filoni: negli anni ’60 è già affermato da decenni nel settore scolastico, che nel corso degli anni è divenuto il settore privilegiato dell’opera. Un Istituto scolastico di una cittadina del levante ligure con una rilevante impronta cattolica, legato di conseguenza al mondo della Chiesa, che ha attraversato i movimenti del Sessantotto e le sue ondate più rivoluzionarie. Il crinale sul quale ha agito questa ricerca è dunque quello della storia sociale, locale, della Chiesa, delle istituzioni pedagogiche e scolastiche.

This editorial is intertwined with many historical contexts to analyse, study and understand. How did the movements of 1968 change the contemporary age forever, but above all how were they experienced firsthand by those who lived through those years? And how did the 1968 movements enter the specific context of school? What did they change? What did students and teachers experience and what did they think of those years of protest? Is today's school model still affected by that wave of change at the end of the 1960s? Another specific context that this research intertwines is that of the Church. How the Church reacted to the subversive wave of the 1968 movement which outlined a renewal of values ​​composed of ideals opposite and contradictory to those recognized by the ecclesial community, such as the process of secularisation or the crisis of the traditional and patriarchal family. The Institute of the Sisters of Santa Marta of Chiavari examined in this research intertwines all these strands: in the 1960s it had already been established for decades in the school sector, which over the years has become the privileged sector of the work. An educational institution in a town in eastern Liguria with a significant Catholic imprint, consequently linked to the world of the Church, which went through the movements of 1968 and its most revolutionary waves. The ridge on which this research acted is therefore that of social, local history, of the Church, of pedagogical and scholastic institutions.
