L'esperienza della morte nei bambini: tra tabù, Death Education e strategie per avvcinarli alla tematica

Abstract

Questa tesi parla della morte dal punto di vista dei bambini. Si parte da un'analisi storica che fa capire come la morte è diventata un tabù nella nostra società; questo ne fa conseguire che i genitori cercano di tenere nascosta la verità sulla morte di una persone ai bambini, ritenuti vulnerabili, causando in loro dei traumi secondari, oltre a non permettere loro di affrontare le fasi del lutto. Infine si parla di libri e cartoni animatiti che possono essere utili per introdurre la tematica.

This thesis talks about death from the point of view of the child. It starts from a historical analysis that makes us understand how death has become a taboo in our society; what makes it follow that parents try to keep the truth about a person's death hidden from children, considered velnerable, causing them secondary traumas, as well as not allowing them to face the stages of mourning. Finally we talk about books and cartoons that can be useful for introducing the theme.
