La mediazione a supporto della valutazione tra pari: esperienze di ricerca azione nell'apprendimento della lingua spagnola

Abstract

Il presente lavoro di tesi nasce da un profondo interesse per il tema della Mediazione Comunitaria e Tra Pari, nato ad ottobre 2020 quando ho avuto il piacere di entrare a far parte del progetto aCT Cooperatively Transmediate Erasmus+, interesse che ho approfondito successivamente con la continua ricerca e studio del tema e la partecipazione ad eventi inerenti allo stesso. Dopo aver sviluppato anche un concreto interesse per le strategie didattiche attive e l’utilizzo della valutazione in relazione alle stesse e ai differenti metodi di valutazione, ho pensato di sviluppare un embrione di tesi che riguardasse entrambe le aree di interesse. Come, dunque, legare la mediazione alla valutazione? Con la mia relatrice e con il supporto di letteratura preesistente abbiamo sviluppato due esperienze di ricerca azione che avessero come tema oggetto non soltanto la mediazione e la valutazione, ma l’interdipendenza delle stesse all’interno dell’apprendimento linguistico, nel nostro caso, dell’apprendimento della lingua spagnola. L’area pedagogica, di mio interesse poiché inerente al mio corso di studi, ha portato ad un interessante connubio con l’apprendimento di una lingua straniera che spesso viene considerata ‘marginale’ in un ambito di studi che potrebbe sembrare così distante. Nel primo capitolo affronteremo il tema della valutazione, con alcune sue declinazioni e approcci. Nel secondo capitolo verrà invece introdotto il tema della mediazione comunitaria e tra pari, con l’esperienza del gruppo aCT Cooperative Transmediate e suoi relativi assi metodologici, con un focus sulla metacognizione e l’apprendimento riflessivo. Nel terzo capitolo saranno affrontate le metodologie di ricerca utilizzate in questo elaborato, in particolare la ricerca azione e la grounded theory. Infine, nel quarto capitolo verranno analizzate le due esperienze di ricerca azione

This work stems from a deep interest in the topic of Community and Peer Mediation, born in October 2020 when I had the pleasure of joining the aCT Cooperatively Transmediate Erasmus + project, an interest that I subsequently deepened with continuous research and study of the theme and participation in events related to it. After having also developed a concrete interest in active teaching strategies and the use of assessment in relation to them and to the different assessment methods, I thought of developing a thesis that concerned both areas of interest. How, then, to link mediation to assessment? With my supervisor and the support of pre-existing literature, we have developed two experiences of action research whose subject matter was not only mediation and evaluation, but their interdependence within language learning, in our case, of learning Spanish language. The pedagogical area, of interest to me since it is inherent in my course of study, has led to an interesting combination with learning a foreign language that is often considered ‘marginal’ in a field of study that might seem so distant. In the first chapter we will deal with the theme topic of evaluation, with some of its declinations and approaches. In the second chapter, the theme of community and peer mediation will be introduced, with the experience of the aCt Cooperative Transmediate group and its related methodological axes, with a focus on metacognition and reflective learning. In the third chapter, the research methodologies used in this paper will be addressed, in particular action research and grounded theory. Finally, the fourth chapter will analyze the two experiences of action research carried out respectively within the teaching of Advanced Spanish Language and Culture of the first year of the master’s degree course in Pedagogy, Planning and Educational Research and the Spanish Language workshop, of the Bachelor’s degree in Education and Training Sciences.
