La scuola in periferia: il caso della scuola Aldo Moro del C.E.P.

Abstract

Il CEP è un quartiere popolare che si trova nelle colline sopra le delegazioni di Voltri e Prà, nel Ponente genovese. Le case popolari del CEP sono state costruite negli anni del boom economico, nello stesso periodo in cui sono stati costruiti altri quartieri popolari nella città. La narrazione che si è fatta e che si fa del CEP in città è del tutto negativa e spesso esagerata. La scuola da anni soffre il rischio della chiusura a causa del calo demografico ma anche a causa della narrazione che se ne fa. Il progetto che ho svolto a scuol avevo l'obiettivo di capire la percezione dei bambini ma anche di migliorare il loro senso di responsabilità nei confrotni del loro territorio.

The CEP is a popular neighborhood located in the hills above the Voltri and Prà delegations, in the western part of Genoa. CEP's public housing was built in the boom years, at the same time as other public housing in the city. The narration that has been made and is made of the CEP in the city is completely negative and often exaggerated. The school has been suffering from the risk of closure for years due to the demographic decline but also due to the narrative that is made of it. The project I carried out at school had the objective of understanding the perception of children but also of improving their sense of responsibility towards their local area.
