La dimensione familiare nel processo migratorio

Abstract

L'elaborato tratta della dimensione familiare entro i processi migratori. Il percorso si articola analizzando in primo luogo le caratteristiche del fenomeno migratorio nel suo complesso, prendendo in considerazione i numeri che lo interessano, le dinamiche che lo motivano e l'insieme di norme che lo regolano. Il secondo e il terzo capitolo analizzano i sistemi familiari e i cambiamenti che li interessano entro il contesto delle migrazioni, approfondendo in particolare le variazioni che interessano i temi della genitorialità e della coniugalità. L'ultima parte si occupa invece delle psicopatologie più frequentemente osservate in coloro che affrontano tale spostamento, il ruolo della dimensione familiare nella mediazione degli effetti legati alla presenza di stressor durante il percorso di reinsediamento e, infine, i modelli di intervento più appropriati a trattare tali casistiche.

The paper deals with the family dimension within migratory processes. The path is articulated by firstly analyzing the characteristics of the migratory phenomenon as a whole, taking into consideration the numbers that concern it, the dynamics that motivate it and the set of laws that regulate it. The second and third chapters analyze family systems and the changes that affect them within the context of migrations, examining in particular the variations that affect the themes of parenthood and conjugality. The last part instead deals with the psychopathologies most frequently observed in those who face this displacement, the role of the family dimension in mediating the effects related to the presence of stressors during the resettlement process and, finally, the most appropriate intervention models to treat such cases.
