“I percorsi post-adottivi: il ruolo dell’assistente sociale e dei gruppi nel supporto alla genitorialità adottiva”

Abstract

L'obiettivo di questa tesi è quello di andare ad indagare il ruolo del Servizio sociale e dei gruppi nel supporto alla famiglia adottiva nel tempo del post-adozione. La ragione per cui si è ritenuto importante soffermarsi sul tema è data dalla particolarità di contesto in cui la famiglia adottiva nasce e cresce e per i complessi compiti di sviluppo che i genitori sono chiamati ad affrontare per tutto il ciclo di vita della famiglia, con l'obiettivo di garantire il benessere a ciascuno dei suoi membri. Il lavoro viene dunque strutturato su quattro capitoli, dove il primo, fa riferimento alla teoria, presentando i principali modelli relativi al percorso adottivo e alla formazione della famiglia adottiva. Il secondo e il terzo capitolo sono relativi alla ricerca svolta con le famiglie adottive e con i rappresentanti delle associazioni del post-adozione, nel tentativo restituire un dato di realtà rispetto a quanto analizzato, anche indagando, attraverso l'esperienza tangibile di chi vive l'adozione nel quotidiano, in che modo i Servizi territoriali e i gruppi di sostegno intervengono a sostegno delle famiglie. Infine, l'ultimo capitolo contiene le conclusioni relative alla ricerca, dove vengono analizzati i dati ottenuti attraverso l’osservazione delle tendenziali difficoltà e criticità che si riscontrano in ambito familiare, sociale e con i Servizi, offrendo una risposta alla domanda relativa al come ad oggi il post adozione è strutturato e su come questo delicato ambito di intervento potrebbe essere implementato e migliorato.

The target of this thesis is to go and investigate the role of Social Service and groups in supporting the adoptive family in the time of post-adoption. The reason why it was considered important to dwell on the subject is given by the particularity of the context in which the adoptive family is born and grows and by the complex developmental tasks that parents are called upon to face throughout the life cycle of the family, with the aim of ensuring the well-being of each of its members. The work is therefore structured on four chapters, where the first refers to theory, presenting the main models related to the adoption path and the formation of the adoptive family. The second and third chapters relate to the research carried out with adoptive families and with representatives of post-adoption associations, in an attempt to return a reality figure with respect to what has been analysed, also investigating, through the tangible experience of those who live adoption on a daily basis, how territorial services and support groups intervene in support of families. Finally, the last chapter contains the conclusions related to research, where the data obtained through the observation of the tendential difficulties and criticalities that are found in the family, social and with the Services are analysed, offering an answer to the question related to how today the post-adoption is structured and on how this delicate scope of intervention could be implemented and improved.
