La Turchia. Storia ed analisi del passaggio da Impero Ottomano a Repubblica.

Abstract

Lo scopo di questa tesi è di rendere conto di come la moderna Turchia affondi le proprie radici in un processo riformistico avviato nei secoli precedenti. Questa disanima non vuole sminuire il ruolo e l'impatto di Mustafa Kemal, ma sviluppa ed approfondisce il processo riformistico che ha permesso al "padre di tutti i Turchi" di portare la Turchia a diventare uno Stato moderno. Il primo capitolo descrive l'Impero e le condizioni che porteranno ad una prima ondata di riformismo che culminerà con l'era del "Tanzimat". All'interno del secondo capitolo si sviluppa la figura di un sovrano che incarnò contemporaneamente il momento di apice e di maggior crisi del riformismo ottomano. Il terzo capitolo narra il processo che ha portato alla fine dell'Impero

The purpose of this thesis is to explain how modern Turkey sinks its roots in a reformist process initiated in previous centuries. This disanima does not want to diminish the role and impact of Mustafa Kemal, but develops and deepens the reformist process that allowed the "father of all Turks" to lead Turkey to become a modern state. The first chapter describes the Empire and the conditions that will lead to a first wave of reformism that will culminate with the era of "Tanzimat". Within the second chapter, the figure of a sovereign develops that simultaneously embodied the climax and greatest crisis of Ottoman reformism. The third chapter narrates the process that led to the end of the Empire.
