Il Sessantotto di Godard: La Cinese e Weekend come spaccato di un'epoca

Abstract

Con la presente tesi, si intende approfondire il rapporto tra cinema e storia, analizzando la rappresentazione del movimento del Sessantotto e del clima culturale in cui esso si è sviluppato, prendendo in considerazione alcune opere cinematografiche internazionali che hanno trattato la tematica della contestazione più o meno direttamente e la cui scelta è stata dettata da considerazioni di carattere soggettivo e in seguito analizzando le due pellicole di Jean-Luc Godard, La Chinoise e Weekend, entrambe del 1967.

With this thesis, we intend to deepen the relationship between cinema and history, analyzing the representation of the 1968 movement and the cultural climate in which it developed, taking into consideration some international cinematographic works that have dealt with the issue of protest more or less Directly and whose choice was dictated by considerations of a subjective nature and subsequently by analyzing the two films by Jean-Luc Godard, La Chinoise and Weekend, both from 1967.
