Il processo di formazione dello Stato di Israele: il ruolo della Gran Bretagna e degli Stati Uniti

Abstract

Questa tesi si pone l’obiettivo di mostrare l’importanza del ruolo di Gran Bretagna e Stati Uniti nella creazione dello Stato di Israele, ripercorrendo gli eventi e gli sviluppi precedenti ad esso. L'elaborato dedica particolare attenzione ai diversi documenti storici che hanno avuto un ruolo chiave nella formazione dell’attuale Vicino Oriente e si analizzano gli atteggiamenti delle due grandi potenze in relazione al contesto storico e agli interessi in gioco.

This thesis aims to show the importance of the role of Great Britain and the United States in the creation of the State of Israel, retracing the events and developments preceding it. The thesis pays particular attention to the various historical documents that have played a key role in the formation of the current Near East and analyzes the attitudes of the two great powers in relation to the historical context and the interests at stake.
