L'Autorità di Sistema Portuale del Mar Ligure Occidentale : analisi descrittiva e di previsione dei traffici marittimi

Abstract

Il primo obiettivo di questa tesi era quello di fornire una panoramica descrittiva della realtà portuale genovese: Nel secondo capitolo ho fornito una breve trattazione storica del porto di Genova dalla seconda metà dell’800 alla seconda metà del 900. Successivamente, vengono presentate le unità di misura fondamentali per valutare lo sviluppo di un bacino portuale e i relativi andamenti all’interno del porto di Genova dal 2001 al 2021. Inoltre, ho potuto analizzare i dati in serie storica, dal 2004 al 2021, degli arrivi navi registrati nel porto di Genova e del loro relativo tonnellaggio. Inoltre, ho potuto approfondire ulteriormente i traffici marittimo portuali dell’Autorità di Sistema del Mar Ligure Occidentale. All’interno del paragrafo 2.3, viene presentato un focus statistico dell'Autorità di Sistema Portuale del Mar Ligure Occidentale, in riferimento all’anno 2019. A conclusione di questo resoconto descrittivo, viene presentata una panoramica esaustiva sulla realizzazione della nuova diga foranea di Genova Nel terzo capitolo si espongono le caratteristiche di una serie storica, focalizzandosi sull’approccio classico alle stesse. La trattazione prosegue con la teoria statistica che soggiace dietro ai due modelli di previsione (della regressione lineare semplice e del triple exponential smoothing) che vengono impiegati nel quarto capitolo per effettuare le previsione dei traffici marittimi fino al 2030. Ho poi concluso relazionando le mie opinioni attraverso l’analisi dei dati, le esperienze del tirocinio, degli altri progetti e la mia esperienza diretta nel mondo del porto.

The first objective of this thesis was to provide a descriptive overview of the Genoese port reality: In the second chapter I provided a brief historical account of the port of Genoa from the second half of the 19th century to the second half of the 20th century. Subsequently, the fundamental units of measurement for evaluating the development of a port basin and the relative trends within the port are presented. of Genoa from 2001 to 2021. At the end of this descriptive report, an exhaustive overview of the construction of the new Genoa breakwater is presented In the third chapter, the characteristics of a historical series are explained, focusing on the classic approach to them. The discussion continues with the statistical theory that underlies the two forecast models (simple linear regression and triple exponential smoothing) that are used in the fourth chapter to forecast maritime traffic up to 2030.

I then concluded by relating my opinions through data analysis, internship experiences, other projects and my direct experience in the world of the port.
