Il grottesco nelle opere di Dimitré Dinev

Abstract

L'obiettivo principale di questa tesi di laurea magistrale è quello di esaminare il grottesco nelle opere di Dimitré Dinev e di fornire al lettore una bibliografia aggiornata e ampliata sul fenomeno del grottesco in letteratura e sull'autore. Per rispondere alla prima domanda di ricerca, sono stati letti i più importanti saggi sull'argomento provenienti dal mondo di lingua tedesca e si è cercato di capire come il contenuto di questi testi possa essere utilizzato per analizzare i momenti grotteschi nel romanzo, nei racconti e nelle opere teatrali di Dinev. Per rispondere alla seconda domanda di ricerca invece, sono stati raccolti ed elencati i vari articoli accademici, le critiche letterarie e gli articoli di giornale che si possono trovare su internet o nei cataloghi delle biblioteche dell'Università di Vienna e della LMU di Monaco disponibili online, anche se la maggior parte di questi poi non è stata direttamente citata in questo lavoro. Complessivamente, questa tesi di laurea è composta da tre capitoli. Il primo si occupa dell'origine e dello sviluppo semantico del termine "grottesco" nel tempo, del suo uso in letteratura e nel linguaggio quotidiano italiano e tedesco, e delle varie definizioni del fenomeno sviluppate soprattutto negli anni Cinquanta, Sessanta e Settanta. Il secondo capitolo introduce la vita e le opere dell'autore. Il terzo capitolo analizza le forme del grottesco nelle opere di Dinev sulla base delle definizioni del fenomeno citate nei primi capitoli. Infine, viene fornita al lettore una bibliografia estesa ed aggiornata su questi argomenti.

The main purpose of this master's degree dissertation is to analyse the grotesque in Dimitré Dinev's works and to provide the reader with an updated and expanded bibliography on the phenomenon of the grotesque in literature and on the author. In order to answer the first research question, the most important essays on the subject coming from the German-speaking world were read and an attempt was made to understand how the content of these texts can be used to analyse the grotesque moments in Dinev's novel, short stories and plays. To answer the second research question, on the other hand, scholarly literature, literary criticism and newspapers articles which can be found surfing on the net or on library catalogues available online of the University of Vienna and LMU of Monaco were collected and listed, although the most part of these were not directly quoted in this paper. This dissertation is composed of three main chapters overall. The first one deals with the origin and semantic development of the term "grotesque" over time, with its use in literature and in the everyday Italian and German language and with the various definitions of the phenomenon developed especially in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. The second one introduces the author's biography and his works. The third chapter analyses the grotesque forms in Dinev's works referring to the definitions mentioned in the previous chapters. In the end, the reader is provided with an expanded and updated bibliography on these topics.
