Analisi della posizione finale degli elementi dentari rispetto alla prescrizione iniziale del bracket: confronto tra 3 sistematiche

Abstract

Nelle moderne apparecchiature multi-bracket la necessità di pieghe di compenso sull’arco è stata ridotta grazie all’introduzione di brackets pre-informati. Sono attualmente disponibili vari tipi di brackets, con prescrizioni diverse per lo stesso dente. Lo scopo di questo studio è stato quello di indagare le differenze nell'angolazione e nell'inclinazione dei denti allineati ortodonticamente quando si utilizzano attacchi differenti e di confrontare i valori finali di tip e torque con le prescrizioni dei bracket utilizzati. 60 pazienti sottoposti a trattamento ortodontico per anomalie di allineamento sono stati selezionati utilizzando predeterminati criteri di inclusione ed esclusione. I pazienti sono stadi divisi in 2 gruppi omogenei in base alla tipologia di bracket utilizzata: il primo gruppo è stato trattato con bracket Damon Q standard, il secondo gruppo con bracket Step System. I valori iniziali e finali di tip e torque sono stati ricavati dai modelli digitali pre e post-trattamento tramite il software OnyxCeph, e sono stati confrontati tra loro e con le prescrizioni dei brackets utilizzati. Differenze significative tra i gruppi sono state trovate rispetto ai valori finali di tip di 1.7, 1.2, 2.6, 2.7, 3.4, 3.3, 3.2, 3.1, 4.4 e rispetto ai valori finali di torque di 1.5, 1.3, 1.1, 2.1, 2.5. Differenze significative intra-gruppo pre-post sono state trovate nel Gruppo 1 per i tip di 1.7, 1.5, 1.4, 1.3, 2.4, 4.2 e per i torque di 1.7, 1,6, 1.5, 1.4, 1.2, 2.4, 2.5, 2.7, 3.4, 3.3, 4.3, 4.4 e nel gruppo 2 per i tip di 1.7, 1.6, 2.2, 2.6, 2.7, 3.7, 3.6, 3.4, 3.3, 3.2, 3.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6, 4.7 e per i torque di 1.7, 1.2, 1.1, 2.1, 2.7, 3.7, 3.3, 3.2, 3.1, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.7. Per quanto riguarda il confronto tra inizio e fine del trattamento, tra i gruppi sono state trovate differenze significative per i tip di 1.7, 1.4, 1.3, 2.6, 2.7, 3.7, 3.4, 3.3, 3.1, 4.4, 4.6 e per i torque di 1.6, 1.5, 1.1, 2.5, 3.7, 3.4, 3.3, 4.2, 4.6.

In modern multi-bracket appliances, the need to make folds on the arch wire has been significantly reduced thanks to the introduction of pre-informed brackets. Various types of brackets are currently available, with different prescriptions for the same tooth. The aim of this study was to investigate the differences in angulation and inclination of orthodontically aligned teeth when using different brackets and to compare the final tip and torque values with the prescriptions of the brackets used for the treatment. 60 patients undergoing orthodontic treatment for alignment anomalies were selected using predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The patients admitted to the study have been divided into 2 homogeneous groups based on the type of bracket used: the first group was treated with standard Damon Q bracket, the second group with D.B. step system 2.0. The initial and final tip and torque values were obtained from the pre and post-treatment digital models using the OnyxCeph software, and were compared with the prescriptions of the brackets used. Significant differences between the groups were found with respect to the final tip values of 1.7, 1.2, 2.6, 2.7, 3.4, 3.3, 3.2, 3.1, 4.4 and with respect to the final torque values of 1.5, 1.3, 1.1, 2.1, 2.5. Significant intra-group differences pre-post over time were found in Group 1 for tip values of 1.7, 1.5, 1.4, 1.3, 2.4, 4.2 and for torque values of 1.7, 1.6, 1.5, 1.4, 1.2, 2.4 , 2.5, 2.7, 3.4, 3.3, 4.3, 4.4. Significant intra-group differences were found in group 2 for tip values of 1.7, 1.6, 2.2, 2.6, 2.7, 3.7, 3.6, 3.4, 3.3, 3.2, 3.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6 , 4.7 and for torque values of 1.7, 1.2, 1.1, 2.1, 2.7, 3.7, 3.3, 3.2, 3.1, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.7. Regarding the changes from the start to the end of the treatment, significant differences were found between groups for the tips of 1.7, 1.4, 1.3, 2.6, 2.7, 3.7, 3.4, 3.3, 3.1, 4.4, 4.6 and for the torques of 1.6, 1.5, 1.1, 2.5, 3.7, 3.4, 3.3, 4.2, 4.6.
