Titolo della tesi:Analisi dei cambiamenti del profilo nei pazienti in Classe II scheletrica, dopo il trattamento con Herbst ancorato su miniviti in arcata inferiore versus apparecchiatura Forsus. Introduzione e scopo dello studio ;La malocclusione di classe II, uno dei problemi più comuni osservati in ortodonzia, colpisce circa un terzo dei pazienti che devono affrontare un trattamento ortodontico. Lo scopo di questo studio è stato proprio di valutare i cambiamenti estetici che devono avvenire sul profilo del paziente dopo il trattamento con Forsus e Herbst .

Metodi ;Sono stati divisi 2 gruppi con 23 pazienti ognuno. Il primo è composto da pazienti trattati con il gruppo Herbst con l'ancoraggio scheletrico su 2 miniviti. Il secondo gruppo è costituito da pazienti trattati con Forsus .Sono stati eseguiti 3 cefalometrie per ogni paziente e analizzato il tracciato di Arnett. Risultati ;Analizzando i risultati della statistica si evidenzia che : l ' angolo ANB non ci sono stati cambiamento statistici .Riguardo il punto LL- TVL non ci sono stati cambiamenti statistici importanti . Pg'-TVL - ha un valore statisticamente significativo . C'è stato una avanzamento del Pogonio dei tessuti molli di 3mm nel Herbst nel tempo T1 vs T0 . Spessore del labbro superiore - Nel gruppo Forsus si diminuisce lo spessore del labbro superiore di 1.6 mm a causa della retrazione dei incisivi superiore . Conclusioni ; Dopo la terapia con Forsus e Herbst ci sono state modifiche sul profilo del paziente che hanno contribuito a migliorare la estetica del viso . A livello dento -alveolare è avvenuta anche una pro inclinazione dei incisivi inferiori che è stato molto maggiore nel gruppo Forsus perche nel gruppo Herbst c'è stato l ancoraggio su i miniviti che permette un maggior controllo dei incisivi .

Introduction and purpose of the study; Class II malocclusion, one of the most common problems seen in orthodontics, affects approximately one third of patients undergoing orthodontic treatment. The purpose of this study was precisely to evaluate the aesthetic changes that must occur on the patient's profile after treatment with Forsus and Herbst.

Methods; 2 groups with 23 patients each were divided. The first is made up of patients treated with the Herbst group with skeletal anchoring on 2 miniscrews. The second group consisted of patients treated with Forsus. 3 cephalometries were performed for each patient and Arnett's traciato analyzed. Results Analyzing the results of the statistics it is highlighted that: the angle ANB there were no statistical changes. Regarding the LL-TVL point there were no important statistical changes. Pg'-TVL - has a statistically significant value. There was a 3mm soft tissue pogonium advancement in the Herbst over time T1 vs.T0. Upper lip thickness - In the Forsus group the thickness of the upper lip is decreased by 1.6 mm due to the retraction of the upper incisors. Conclusions; After the therapy with Forsus and Herbst there were changes on the patient profile which helped to improve the aesthetics of the face. At the dentoalveolar level there was also a pro-inclination of the lower incisors which was much greater in the Forsus group because in the Herbst group there was anchoring on the miniscrews which allows greater control of the incisors.
