| dc.description.abstract | La mia tesi tratta della storiografia etnica nel medioevo e della "Storia dei Longobardi" di Paolo Diacono. In particolare nel primo capitolo mi sono soffermato sulla storiografia etnica nel mondo antico e medievale. Nel secondo vengono analizzati il contesto storico culturale dell'epoca di Paolo Diacono. Successivamente ho tracciato un quadro dell'autore, descrivendone la vita e le opere. Nell'ultimo capitolo ho commentato il primo libro dell' "Historia Langobardorum." | it_IT |

In the first chapter I analyze the Ethnic Historiograpy first in the Greek and Roman ages and after in the Middle Ages.
