La teologia del popolo

Abstract

Con l’elezione al Soglio pontificio del Cardinal Bergoglio si sono accesi i riflettori sulla teologia latinoamericana e sui suoi principali pensatori. La teologia del popolo - di cui appunto è interprete - nasce in Argentina dopo la seconda guerra mondiale nell'ambito di un vasto e variegato movimento intellettuale che coinvolge l’intera realtà sociale dell'America latina. L’elaborato intende approfondire il momento genetico ed analizzare il rapporto con la teologia della liberazione. Si tratta, infine, di comprendere ricchezza della teologia del popolo nel pensiero odierno.

With the election of Cardinal Bergoglio to the papal throne, the spotlight has turned on Latin American theology and its main thinkers. The theology of the people - of which he is the interpreter - was born in Argentina after the Second World War in the context of a vast and variegated intellectual movement that involves the entire social reality of Latin America. The paper intends to deepen the genetic moment and analyze the relationship with the theology of liberation. Also, it is a question of understanding the richness of the theology of the people in today's thought.
