La poesia d'amore nei Carmina Burana

Abstract

Il presente lavoro si sviluppa in quattro capitoli. Nel primo capitolo si introduce il periodo storico del Medioevo facendo particolare attenzione ai cambiamenti economici, sociali e culturali che portarono alla formazione delle Università e la conseguente nascita della figura dell'intellettuale. Protagonisti del secondo capitolo sono i goliardi ( o clerici vaganti), cioè gli studenti che viaggiavano fra le Università più importanti e che durante il loro vagabondare scrivevano poesie di vari generi e che da loro prendono il nome di "poesie goliardiche". Nel terzo capitolo si prendono in esame le poesie d'amore contenute nella raccolta dei Carmina Burana. Nel quarto e ultimo capitolo lo sguardo è rivolto alla figura femminile che emerge dai Carmina Burana e che viene messa a confronto con le altre figure femminili della poesia medio latina in volgare.

This work is divided into four chapters. The first chapter introduces the historical period of the Middle Ages paying particular attention to the economic, social and cultural changes that led to the formation of the Universities and the consequent birth of the figure of the intellectual. The protagonists of the second chapter are the goliards ( or clerici vaganti), that is, the students who traveled among the most important Universities and who, during their wandering ,wrote poems of various themes and that from them take the name of "goliardic poems". In the third chapter we examine the love poems contained in the collection of Carmina Burana. In the fourth and last chapter the focus is on the female figure that emerges from Carmina Burana and is compared with other female figures of Middle Latin poetry in the vernacular language.
