Progettazione di uno yacht sportivo di 100'

Abstract

Il tema trattato in questa tesi è la progettazione di uno yacht sportivo di 100’ e la sua evoluzione nei prossimi anni. Ho scelto questa tipologia di yacht perché sono imbarcazioni veloci che oggi hanno ancora un grande successo sul mercato ma che forse sono destinate a scomparire a causa delle nuove normative sull’inquinamento. Andare veloce per mare richiede una potenza maggiore e quindi maggiori consumi. Per mantenere attivo questo mercato, per gli armatori ancora amanti della navigazione, che vivono la barca più come mezzo di trasporto che come casa, ho deciso di realizzare questo progetto con alcune innovazioni eco-friendly. Sono state inoltre analizzate le varie problematiche che hanno portato alla modifica di alcune parti di queste imbarcazioni: principalmente la poppa e la prua oltre che l’organizzazione generale degli interni. Per avere una chiara visione futura, durante questo percorso di tesi ho intervistato i più importanti designer del panorama della nautica e raccolto le loro opinioni. Quest’ultime, oltre ad un’attenta analisi dei competitor, sono state la base di partenza della progettazione.

The theme covered in this thesis is the design of a 100‘ sport yacht and its evolution over the next years. It has been chosen this kind of yacht because they are fast boats that are still very successful on the market today perhaps destined to disappear due to the new pollution regulations. Going fast while cruising requires more power and therefore greater fuel consumption. To keep this market alive, for owners who still cherish sailing, who uses the boat more as a means of transport rather than a home, I decided to design the project with some eco-friendly innovations. The various constraints that led to the modification of some parts of these boats were also analyzed: mainly the stern and bow as well as the general arrangement of the interiors. To enhance a future vision, during this thesis I interviewed the most important designers of the nautical field and collected their opinions. In addition to a detailed analysis of the competitors, was the starting point of the project.
