Cinema e giornalismo in America e in Italia: analisi e confronto dei film sulle inchieste investigative e sociali

Abstract

La tesi “Cinema e giornalismo in America e in Italia: analisi e confronto dei film sulle inchieste investigative e sociali” si propone di condurre un’analisi attorno ai comparti americani e italiani del cinema e del giornalismo di inchiesta per osservare come queste due categorie siano strettamente connesse nel processo di costruzione e narrazione di una sceneggiatura, nel caso del cinema, e di un’inchiesta, nel caso del giornalismo: per fare ciò, verranno analizzati una serie di film su inchieste sia di tipo sociale che investigativo di produzione, appunto, americana e italiana. Inoltre, l’elaborato intende anche analizzare come la figura del giornalista venga rappresentata dall’industria cinematografica, soffermandosi in particolar modo su alcune pellicole relative a inchieste giornalistiche realmente condotte da giornalisti americani e italiani.

The thesis “Cinema and journalism in America and Italy: analysis and comparison of films on investigative and social investigations” proposes to conduct an analysis around the American and Italian film and investigative journalism sectors to observe how these two categories are closely linked in the process of constructing and narrating a script, in the case of cinema, and an investigation, in the case of journalism: to do this, a series of American and Italian films on both social and investigative investigations will be analysed throughout the dissertation. In addition, the paper also aims to analyse how the figure of the journalist is represented by the film industry, focusing on some films related to journalistic investigations actually conducted by American and Italian journalists.
