| it_IT |
| dc.description.abstract | The concept of the group is one of the most central theoretical, methodological and epistemological cores of contemporary pedagogical sciences. This thesis explores the transformative, emancipatory and inclusive potential of the group as an educational device within the school context, understood as an ecosystem in which three key actors of the educating community interact: students, teachers and parents. The aim is to show how the shift from the "class as an aggregate" to a cohesive "class-group" is a necessary precondition for promoting a genuine ecology of wellbeing, countering distress and supporting the educational success of each individual. The work is organised into four chapters. The first outlines the theoretical framework of the concept of group, drawing on classical paradigms of social psychology (Lewin, Allport, Merton, Festinger), and maps the needs and developmental risks affecting students, teachers and families. The second examines the main group-mediated teaching strategies: Cooperative Learning, Peer Education, Circle Time, the Operational Working Group (GLO) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. The third addresses the challenges of contemporary inclusion, analysing early school leaving and the integration of foreign students — through the case of the Agenda Nord project, funded by PNRR resources — and the group as an inclusive device for LGBTQIA+ identities. The fourth chapter explores self-help groups as educational interventions and spaces of empowerment for students, teachers and parents. The research shows that school cannot be regarded merely as a place for transmitting individual notions, but as an ecosystem in which the quality of intersubjective relationships determines educational success and the wellbeing of the community. Authentic dialogue within the group emerges as the primary horizon of meaning for building an inclusive, resilient and democratic school, capable of turning individual vulnerability into a collective resource. | en_UK |
