SannaBike: nuove connessioni per Savona

Abstract

Il progetto condotto attraverso la tesi si è concentrato sulle ciclabili di Savona e delle città limitrofe con l'intento di creare una nuova rete ciclabile sul territorio che sia protetta e che possa al contempo creare luoghi di socialità per tutti i cittadini. In questo senso si è fatta un'analisi del territorio e delle iniziative già condotte a livello locale e si sono studiate references di casi studio simili. In questo modo si è creata una cartina delle possibili nuove ciclabili per poi sviluppare nel dettaglio due dei principali assi della città andando a progettare come si possa andare a concretizzare il progetto su Corso Tardy e Benech e la passeggiata delle Fornaci. Inoltre si ha avuto attenzione alla qualità degli spazi creati inserendo nuove zone di sosta e mettendo a dimora molte nuove alberature.

The project conducted through this thesis focused on the bicycle paths of Savona and surrounding cities with the aim of creating a new cycling network in the area that is protected and can also create places of social interaction for all citizens. In this sense, an analysis of the territory and the initiatives already conducted at the local level was carried out and references from similar case studies were studied. In this way, a map of possible new bicycle paths was created and then two of the city's main axis were developed in detail, going on to plan how the project on Corso Tardy and Benech and the Fornaci promenade could be implemented. Furthermore, attention was paid to the quality of the spaces created by inserting new rest areas and planting many new trees.
