Il rischio suicidario e il caso della provincia di Imperia.

Abstract

Questo elaborato nasce dalla riflessione sul complesso fenomeno del suicidio e dai suoi fattori determinanti, proponendo una revisione teorica della letteratura integrata ad un’analisi empirica sul territorio della provincia di Imperia. Dopo un’analisi teorica sulla definizione del fenomeno e sulla sua storia, verranno analizzati fattori di rischio e protezione con attenzione alle componenti nucleari, ai fattori sociali ed economici ed infine all’influenza dei disturbi psichiatrici e comorbilità. Particolare attenzione è poi dedicata alla valutazione e alla prevenzione del rischio suicidario approfondendo modelli e strumenti, dando rilievo alla gestione del paziente a rischio e alla relazione con il terapeuta. Infine, viene presentato uno studio osservazionale retrospettivo sulla suicidalità nella provincia di Imperia attraverso l’analisi dei dati sociodemografici.

This thesis arises from a reflection on the complex phenomenon of suicide and its determining factors, proposing a theoretical review of the literature integrated with an empirical analysis conducted in the province of Imperia. Following a theoretical examination of the definition of the phenomenon and its historical background, risk and protective factors will be analyzed, with particular attention to family-related components, social and economic factors, and the influence of psychiatric disorders and comorbidities. Special emphasis is then placed on the assessment and prevention of suicide risk through an in-depth exploration of models and tools, highlighting the management of at-risk patients and the therapeutic relationship. Finally, a retrospective observational study on suicidality in the province of Imperia is presented, based on the analysis of sociodemographic data.
