"Benvenuti a scuola!"Insegnare l’italiano L2 come mezzo di accoglienza e integrazione.

Abstract

La tesi analizza l’insegnamento dell’italiano L2 come strumento di accoglienza e integrazione nella scuola primaria. A partire dall’analisi del quadro migratorio italiano e ligure, evidenzia come la presenza di alunni con background migratorio rappresenti una realtà strutturale che richiede risposte educative inclusive. Il lavoro approfondisce il concetto di intercultura, i bisogni linguistici ed emotivi dell’apprendente bambino e i principali approcci metodologici per l’insegnamento dell’italiano L2. La parte conclusiva propone un sillabo operativo pensato per favorire l’inserimento dei bambini neoarrivati, promuovendo partecipazione, appartenenza e successo formativo.

This thesis examines the teaching of Italian as a second language (L2) as a tool for welcoming and integrating newly arrived pupils in primary school. Starting from an analysis of the Italian and Ligurian migration context, it highlights how the presence of students with a migrant background represents a structural reality that requires inclusive educational responses. The study explores the concept of intercultural education, the linguistic and emotional needs of young learners, and the main methodological approaches to teaching Italian as an L2. The final section presents an operational syllabus designed to support inclusion, participation, and academic success.
