Storia e memoria: voci inedite degli anni della contestazione

Abstract

Il presente elaborato affronta il problema della memoria storica, privata e istituzionale di un periodo vicino della storia italiana: gli anni della contestazione. Si indagano le derive violente e quelle non violente, e l’accento è posto sulle memorie private di chi ha vissuto quegli anni in prima persona. Attraverso le interviste semistrutturate, si indagano i ricordi privati dei ragazzi del ‘68; attraverso le interviste e i materiali d’archivio online, si entra nella memoria dei protagonisti della lotta armata; e, infine, si indaga la memoria istituzionale che viene tramandata di quel periodo plumbeo.

This paper addresses the issue of historical memory—both private and institutional—concerning a recent period in Italian history: the years of protest and political unrest. It examines both the violent and non-violent trajectories of that season, with particular emphasis on the private memories of those who experienced those years firsthand. Through semi-structured interviews, it explores the personal recollections of the youth of 1968; through interviews and online archival materials, it investigates the memory of the protagonists of the armed struggle; and, finally, it analyzes the institutional memory that has been transmitted regarding that somber period.
