Supporto alle famiglie prese in carico dal Follow up della Terapia Intensiva e Patologia Neonatale: brochure informativa per la promozione dello sviluppo 0-3 mesi

Abstract

L’intervento abilitativo preventivo inizia in TIN, grazie alla presenza di figure esperte e alla consulenza dei fisioterapisti specializzati in questo ambito, ma deve continuare anche dopo la dimissione: una volta rientrati al domicilio, i promotori dello sviluppo del bambino sono i genitori e devono quindi essere loro a sostenere il proprio bambino. A partire da questo presupposto, si può capire il motivo di questo progetto di tesi: creare una brochure informativa da consegnare ai genitori alla dimissione dalla TIN con tutte le informazioni necessarie per accompagnarli nella promozione dello sviluppo del proprio bambino. Questo progetto pone le sue basi sia su due tesi di laurea sul tema del follow up dei bambini prematuri, che sono state redatte recentemente, sia su una ricerca della letteratura per identificare le evidenze scientifiche in questo ambito. Unendo questi aspetti è stato possibile fare una selezione delle tematiche principali da inserire nel nostro lavoro. Poste le basi per la stesura della brochure informativa, sono state consultati vari professionisti sanitari esperti nei diversi ambiti così da avere il loro contributo sugli argomenti di specifica pertinenza di ognuno e soprattutto di identificare insieme la struttura ideale per rendere la brochure il più fruibile possibile per i genitori. Completato il lavoro di stesura del libretto, abbiamo iniziato la consegna. I primi libretti sono stati consegnati all’interno del follow-up della Patologia Neonatale insieme a due questionari: il questionario T0 da compilare alla consegna del libretto e il questionario T1 da compilare al follow-up successivo per raccogliere i suggerimenti dei genitori. L’intento del progetto è quello di implementare l’assistenza alle famiglie dei neonati pretermine, sia per migliorare gli esiti psicomotori di questi piccoli pazienti sia per dare il migliore supporto possibile ai genitori che si trovano a dovere affrontare un evento complicato come la nascita prematura.

The preventive habilitation intervention begins in the NICU, thanks to the presence of expert figures and the advice of physiotherapists specialized in this area, but must continue even after discharge: once back home, the promoters of the child's development are the parents and must therefore be the ones to support their child. Starting from this assumption, you can understand the reason for this thesis project: to create an information brochure to be given to parents upon discharge from the NICU with all the information necessary to accompany them in promoting their child's development. This project is based both on two degree theses on the topic of follow-up of premature babies, which have been recently written, and on a literature search to identify scientific evidence in this area. By combining these aspects, it was possible to make a selection of the main themes to be included in our work. Once the foundations were laid for the drafting of the information brochure, various health professionals who are experts in different fields were consulted so as to have their contribution on the topics of specific relevance to each one and above all to identify together the ideal structure to make the brochure as usable as possible for parents. Once the work of drafting the booklet was completed, we began the delivery. The first booklets were delivered within the Neonatal Pathology follow-up together with two questionnaires: the T0 questionnaire to be completed at the delivery of the booklet and the T1 questionnaire to be completed at the next follow-up to collect parents' suggestions. The aim of the project is to implement assistance to the families of preterm infants, both to improve the psychomotor outcomes of these young patients and to give the best possible support to parents who are having to face a complicated event such as premature birth.
