Amleto (1918) di Riccardo Bacchelli: sulla riscrittura rondesca del classico di Shakespeare

Abstract

La tesi si propone di studiare l’Amleto di Riccardo Bacchelli al fine di riscoprirne l’attualità e le potenzialità sceniche. Per farlo lo studio ne propone un’analisi estetica e drammaturgica anche mettendo a confronto l’opera con l’ipotesto shakespeariano. Viene analizzata infine la fortuna teatrale del testo, riscoperto a varie tappe molti decenni dopo la pubblicazione sulla Ronda.

This thesis aims to study Riccardo Bacchelli's Hamlet in order to rediscover its relevance and theatrical potential. To this end, the study proposes an aesthetic and dramaturgical analysis, also comparing the work with Shakespeare's original text. Finally, the theatrical success of the text, rediscovered in various stages many decades after its publication in La Ronda, is analysed.
