Interventi educativi per fronteggiare le difficoltà d'ansia nei bambini.

Abstract

Questa tesi si pone l'obiettivo di conoscere e approfondire interventi educativi efficaci per fronteggiare le difficoltà d'ansia nei bambini dal punto di vista pedagogico. Nello specifico l'elaborato viene suddiviso in tre capitoli. Il primo ha lo scopo di fornire una definizione precisa di ansia, di riportare alcuni dati statistici e cenni storici. Inoltre vengono descritte le cause principali legate a questo disturbo e i tipi d'ansia che si manifestano più frequentemente nel bambino e alcune sue false credenze. Nel secondo capitolo vengono trattate le varie difficoltà d'ansia che possono colpire il bambino in età evolutiva. L'ultimo capitolo ha l'intento di suggerire delle tecniche utili a educatori e adulti di riferimento per aiutare il bambino a gestire la sua ansia. Propone anche l'utilizzo della fiaba come strumento educativo e cerca di trasmettere l'importanza di riconoscere e gestire le emozioni migliorando così anche l'autostima.

This thesis aims to identify and explore effective educational interventions to overcome anxiety disorders in children from a pedagogical perspective. Specifically, the thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter aims to provide a precise definition of anxiety, presenting statistical data and historical backgroung. It also describes the main causes of this disorder, the types of anxiety that most frequently occur in children, and some of their false beliefs. The second chapter deals with the various anxiety disorders that can affect children during their development. The last chapter aims to suggest useful techniques for educators and caregivers to help children manage their anxiety. It also proposes the use of fairy tales as an educational tool and seeks to convey the importance of recognising and managing emotions, thereby improving self-esteem.
