"Il pensiero anticipatorio: il futuro della sicurezza sul lavoro"

Abstract

Il presente studio si propone di indagare il crescente interesse riservato al pensiero anticipatorio in materia di sicurezza sul lavoro. È sempre più evidente quanto il suo impiego in team e organizzazioni sia efficace, resta però una capacità da sviluppare. Nel primo capitolo viene introdotto il costrutto, le sue basi, le capacità mentali a sostegno oltre che strategie e bias probabili. Troviamo inoltre diversi modelli a supporto del costrutto. Nel secondo invece si affrontano concretamente le strategie per la implementazione di resilienza e motivazione in team e singoli individui tramite il modello PRO-SAFE (proactive safety orientation di Curcuruto) e la piattaforma Scenario Explorer (studio di Argenta, Browning, Amos-Binks e Lyle del 2019). Sono presentati inoltre tre domini alla base del ruolo proattivo in contesti lavorativi (Can do, reason to, l’orientamento al futuro e all’anticipazione). Infine, il terzo capitolo si propone di analizzare le figure del leader , quale sia lo stile di leadership più adeguato da adottare per stimolare adeguatamente i lavoratori e quali caratteristiche debba avere un dipendente in un’ottica proattiva.

This study aims to investigate the growing interest in anticipatory thinking in the field of occupational safety. It is more and more clear how effective its use is in teams and organisations, but it remains a skill that needs to be developed.

The first chapter introduces the concept, its foundations, the mental abilities that support it, as well as likely strategies and biases.We also find several models supporting the construct.

The second chapter deals specifically with strategies for implementing resilience and motivation in teams and individuals through the PRO-SAFE model (proactive safety orientation by Curcuruto) and the Scenario Explorer platform (study by Argenta, Browning, Amos-Binks and Lyle from 2019). Three domains underlying the proactive role in work contexts are also presented (Can do, Reason to, Future orientation and Anticipation).

Finally, the third chapter aims to analyse the role of the leader , the most appropriate leadership style to adopt in order to adequately motivate workers, and the characteristics that an employee should have from a proactive perspective.
