La Comunicazione Aumentativa Alternativa (CAA) come strumento di inclusione: affrontare i Bisogni Comunicativi Complessi (BCC) nel contesto scolastico.

Abstract

Questa tesi si concentra sull’utilizzo della Comunicazione Aumentativa Alternativa (CAA) in presenza di Bisogni Comunicativi Complessi (BCC) e come essa può favorire l’inclusione nel contesto scolastico. Il primo capitolo si concentra su una parte teorica, di descrizione dei BCC e CAA e degli obiettivi da definire per un suo utilizzo. Successivamente viene introdotto il tema dell’inclusione, prima in un’ottica generale poi analizzando come la CAA possa favorirla o essere un ostacolo. Infine, vengono analizzati gli strumenti che si possono utilizzare, sia sfruttando la tecnologia che non, e come essi possano aiutare l’alunno con BCC a scuola, e il ruolo dello psicologo in questo processo. Questo elaborato vuole offrire un inquadramento teorico e un pensiero innovativo legato all’utilizzo delle tecnologie presenti attualmente, con l’obiettivo di creare un ambiente sempre più accessibile e inclusivo per tutti.

This thesis focuses on the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (ACC) in the presence of Complex Communication Needs (CCN) and how it can promote inclusion in the school. The first chapter concentrates on a theoretical part, describing CCN and AAC and the objectives to be defined for its use. Subsequently, the theme of inclusion is introduced, first from a general perspective and then analyzing how AAC can promote it or be an obstacle. Finally, the tools that can be used are analyzed, both leveraging technology and otherwise, and how they can help students with CCN in school, as well as the role of the psychologist in this process. This paper aims to offer a theoretical framework and innovative thinking related to the use of currently available technologies, with the goal of creating an increasingly accessible and inclusive environment for all.
