Correlati Psicologici delle Malattie Reumatologiche: una Systematic Review su Fibromialgia e Attaccamento

Abstract

Questo lavoro di tesi nasce come come revisione sistematica della letteratura per indagare i correlati psicologici delle malattie reumatologiche, con un focus particolare sulla relazione tra pattern di attaccamento e la sindrome della fibromialgia. Il quadro teorico di riferimento è fornito dalla Teoria dell'attaccamento di Bowlby, sottolineando come i Modelli Operativi Interni possano influenzare aspetti fondamentali della psiche umana, e quindi come possono impattare nella vita dell'individuo quando questa è ostacolata da una condizione sindromica. Seguendo le linee guida PRISMA 2020, sono stati selezionati e analizzati studi che trattavano l'argomento di questa tesi, al fine di identificare i principali pattern di attaccamento presenti in questa popolazione clinica. I risultati di questo lavoro indicano la presenza di specifiche vulnerabilità legate a pattern di attaccamento insicuro, con l'obiettivo di arricchire il panorama scientifico offrendo una prospettiva integrata sul ruolo dei legami di attaccamento nella comprensione della fibromialgia.

This thesis is presented as a systematic review of the literature aimed at investigating the psychological correlates of rheumatological diseases, with a particular focus on the relationship between attachment patterns and fibromyalgia syndrome. The theoretical framework is provided by Bowlby’s Attachment Theory, which highlights how Internal Working Models can influence fundamental aspects of human psychology and, consequently, how they may affect an individual’s life when challenged by a syndromic condition. Following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, relevant studies addressing this topic were selected and analyzed in order to identify the main attachment patterns present within this clinical population. The findings of this work indicate the presence of specific vulnerabilities associated with insecure attachment patterns, with the aim of contributing to the scientific literature by offering an integrated perspective on the role of attachment bonds in understanding fibromyalgia.
